Corrections, questions and things we got wrong
One address, read by a person. Corrections are the most useful thing you can send, and the only ones we can act on are the ones that name the page and the claim.
The address
Write to [email protected]. There is no contact form on this site: no email service is wired to one, and a form that quietly posts nowhere is worse than no form at all.
What is worth sending
- A citation we got wrong — a participant count, a year, a journal, a funder. Name the page and quote the sentence and it will be checked against the source.
- A trial we missed. If an active on this site has evidence we have not read, that changes a grade, and a grade changing is the point of the scale.
- A label that has changed. Drug Facts panels and storefront claims move, and every one we quote carries the date we read it.
- A seller's page that now says something different from what we quoted.
What we cannot answer
We cannot tell you why your hair is thinning, whether a product is right for you, whether to start or stop anything, or how much of something to use. Those are medical questions and nobody here is qualified to touch them — a GP or a board-certified dermatologist is, and the answer usually starts with working out the cause.
We also cannot arrange discounts, take payment for a mention, or add a product to a grade book without a trial to read. Companies are welcome to send published studies; they will be read the same way everything else is.
Replies
This is a small site and a reply may take a while, but a correction with a source gets acted on whether or not anyone writes back. When a page changes because a reader was right, the page says so.
